Printing services

To use printing services of the Faculty of Science, CU Student Card/ISIC Student Card (issued by CU) is needed. To pay for printing some money must be uploaded into MyQ account (a software operating within the whole faculty, separate from the refectory or dorm account). MyQ account is automatically generated for all students of the faculty, and automatically closed in 3 months from the end of their studies (withdrawal of the remaining money is possible at the Information Technology Centre or it will be forfeited).

Depositing money into the account is possible using the machines located in the Library of Geographical Sciences or Library of the Biological Sciences (banknotes and coins accepted, machines do not return, do not forget to log out!), or by depositing cash at the service of the Library of Geological Sciences or Library of Chemical Sciences.

Users send documents to network printers separately from computers located in computer classrooms/study rooms after login (CU login and password). After sending the document to the print queue, place the Student Card/ISIC Student Card to the sensor of the device. Afterwards, the display shows the documents to print, the balance on the MyQ account, etc. At this moment, it is also possible to edit or stop the printing. A fee is charged only for printed sheets (printed blank sheets as well!). Unprinted documents remain in the print queue for 1 hour and then are deleted. Do not forget to log out of the computer and the printer.
