The Orientation Days are organized before the start of classes to welcome new Erasmus exchange students. Please note that it is OBLIGATORY TO ATTEND THE ORIEANTATION DAY! The detailed information is sent to accepted students via email.
On the Orientation Day, students are officially registered. After the consent to the personal data processing (Act. No.101/2000 Coll., and all applicable regulations), following documents are required:
- your ID card number,
- name of your insurance company including your policy number,
- address in your home country and in Prague
- Admission Letter
A guided tour around the faculty´s building and facilities is a part of the Orientation Days (libraries, computer rooms, canteen, etc.), and a visit of CU Card Service Centre at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (Address: Ke Karlovu 3) where CU Student Cards/ISIC Student Cards including internet access and SIS (Student Information System) passwords are issued. Please, note that you can check your schedule only after logging into SIS.
No arrival documents can be confirmed before the Orientation Day.
If you cannot attend the Orientation Days you have to register in the Erasmus Office of the Faculty of Science, Charles University (Address: Na Slupi 16; Tram stop: Botanická zahrada) by yourself. Check the office hours and documents required for registration before your visit! Only after the registration, you can get your Student Card/ISIC Student Card in any of Charles University Card Service Centres.
Student Card/ISIC Student Card also permits holders to get discounted public transport pass.
