Student information system (SIS)
The essential tool to arrange your studies at Charles University is Student Information System (SIS).
During the Orientation Days, students receive login and password into SIS together with your CU Student Card/ISIC Student Card. As there are high numbers of incoming students at the beginning of each semester, sometimes, it takes a few days after receiving the above mentioned credentials to get successfully logged into the SIS.
SIS allows you to search for courses, displays your courses in which you are enrolled, your schedule, your study results, allows you to register for exams and much more. The same should be accessible through the Mobile app Karlovka.
According to the regulation, students are obliged to provide the faculty with their e-mail address, to which important announcements, exam results and more are sent!
If you need to change or modify your personal data in SIS, click on the Personal data and Settings icon —> Information —> Data change. By clicking on the Personal data and Settings icon —> User options, you can manage other options e.g. to tick the send notice if examinations results changed and many more.

Moodle
Moodle (Faculty of Science uses Moodle 2) is an e-learning platform, where some teachers have their courses (use the course code e.g. MB150P83E for searching). The login and password to Moodle are the same as into SIS. In Moodle, you can find presentations, additional study materials, discussions, upload your homework, take tests, etc.
You can freely enrol yourself in many courses, but to enter them, you need a key, which you receive from the teacher at the beginning of the semester. In order to be classified or to be able to hand in homework, you need to enrol in the course officially.
