After the registration, public transport pass may be arranged. It is possible to use PID Lítačka mobile app if you have ISIC Student Card. You can also arrange the physical Lítačka Card which can be obtained immediately in Škodův palác (Jungmannova 35/29, Prague 1) or arranged online and sent to the address of your choice (30 days!). Note, ID Card/passport is needed.

Time coupons may be bought in the mobile app or at any point of sale where Lítačka Card has to be presented, and CU Student Card/ISIC Student Card to get discounted prices up to the age of 26.

 

Metro

There are 3 lines (green line A, yellow line B, red line C) with transfer stations Muzeum (AC), Můstek (AB), and Florenc (BC). The operating hours are from 5:00 to 24:00. In rush hours, the interval is 2 – 4 minutes, otherwise 4 – 10 minutes.


Trams

There are many day-operation lines (5:00 – 24:00) and several (Nr. 91–99) night-operating trams (cca 24:00 – 4:30) that have a common night transfer station Lazarská.


Buses

There are many bus lines in Prague. In the rush hours, the interval is usually between 5 and 15 minutes. The interval of night buses (cca 24:00 – 4:30; Nr. 901–916) is from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the line number. Regional buses provide connection to the peripheral parts of Prague. Buses starting with the “X” letter are used in case of detours and emergencies.
All bus stops are request stops now – wave at the driver to get on / press the Stop Button on the bus to get off.



Note that the surroundings of Prague are divided into zones. If you travel from the city centre (zones P, 0, B) to zones 1, 2, 3 etc., an additional ticket needs to be purchased.
