Aretin's Map of the Bohemian Kingdom
A collective monograph with rich picture and map accompaniment introduces the life and work of the White Mountain exile Pavel Aretin from Ehrenfeld, whose map New and Accurate Description of the Kingdom of Bohemia was published in four editions (in 1619, 1632, 1665, before 1747) and significantly influenced the contemporary subsequent cartographic production.
