Cooperation
The Map Collection cooperates with Czech and foreign partners on various projects related to making digitized documents available. In addition to Kramerius Digital Library of Charles University and Digital Map Collection, it is possible to find our maps on the following portals.
An internet platform operated by the National Museum, which allows you to view scans and photos of collection items from 131 Czech cultural institutions. The Map Collection collection contains more than 29,200 documents.
The European Digital Library makes available documents from more than 3,000 digital libraries around the world.
All documents from the Map Collection can be searched by entering the keyword "Map collection UK" in the initial search field. Currently, you will find more than 28,000 of them accessible there.
OldMapsOnline is an interactive map application that, thanks to a dynamic timeline, allows users to view a specific territory in a historical, territorial-administrative and cultural-social context. The platform contains more than half a million digitized maps from dozens of institutions around the world and is available in 12 languages, including Czech.
Almost 15,000 maps come from the Map Collection fund.
A project that provides depictions of records from Czech and Slovak archives and other institutions. Images from our collection can be searched after entering the keyword "Mapová sbírka Přírodovědecké fakulty Univerzity Karlovy" in the initial search field.
