Aim of the project:  The project focuses on the assessment of the status and conservation of the hydrological regime and the natural state of peatlands and the design and implementation of measures to protect them, especially in the context of ongoing climate change. It is essential to understand the historical and current human impact on these ecosystems and to take appropriate measures to prevent their further degradation. The project is a transboundary one, implemented in two national parks KRNAP and KPN.
