The Department of Applied Geoinformatics and Cartography at the Geography Section of the Faculty of Science participates in the teaching of bachelor's study programs:

Applied Geography
- Study specialization: Physical geography and geoinformatics
- Study specialization: Socialical geography and geoinformatics
- Geography and cartography
It also provides teaching of the master's programme in Geoinformatics, Cartography and Remote Sensing and teaching of the doctoral programme in Geoinformatics, Cartography and Remote Sensing.
Teaching is mainly focused on geoinformation systems, remote sensing, geodatabase systems, web applications and cartography.
