Nataša Katanić, a PhD student at the Department of Ecology, Faculty of Science, Charles University, received the Best poster award at the 20th International Colloquium on Amphipoda held in Łódź, Poland (1–5 September 2025). Her poster, titled “Microbiome composition in coexisting lineages of a Gammarus species complex along a gradient of anthropogenic stress”, presented preliminary results from the CELSA project carried out in collaboration with her thesis supervisor, professor Adam Petrusek, and professor Ellen Decaestecker from KU Leuven (Belgium).

The research group led by Linda Nedbalová at the Department of Ecology, Faculty of Science, Charles University, has prepared the CryoAlgae experiment, which could become part of the scientific program of Czech astronaut Aleš Svoboda aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Congratulations!
