On Monday, 16 June 2025, the Map Collection welcomed a rare visitors – the Dean of the Faculty of Science of Charles University, Assoc. Prof. RNDr. Ing. Vladimír Krylov, Ph.D., and his Advisory Board.
The director of the Map Collection, PhDr. Mgr. Eva Novotná, Ph.D., gave the presentation, and also introduced the participants to the history and mission of the collection. The rarest maps, atlases and globes from our collection were exhibited, including maps inscribed on the Memory of the World UNESCO . Everyone also liked Kuchař gallery of cartography.
