The Internationalisation Fund of the Faculty of Science is intended to support internationalisation at the Faculty.

Financial support is allocated according to the priorities of the faculty, primarily for:
  1. student trips not covered by funding under other programmes (e.g. ERASMUS+, POINT or CU Mobility Fund); preference is given to stays longer than 30 days, with a minimum stay of 10 days; travels to conferences will not be supported
  2. participation in international summer schools (CU POINT is the preferred financial source)

 

Application Submission

The applicant for financial support shall complete all items in the application, including the co-financing and a detailed breakdown of the funds requested. Incorrectly completed or incomplete applications will be returned for reworking.


Attachments to the Application

  1. Acceptance letter from the host institution
  2. Recommendation of the professional guarantor (supervisor, head of department)
  3. Study plan (for a study visit) or project proposal (for a field trip)
  4. Motivation letter

Accepting Applications

Applications are approved by the Faculty's Foreign Affairs Committee throughout the year and are evaluated at quarterly intervals. The Commission usually meets within two weeks of the end of the particular interval.

Financial Support

Bachelor's and Master's students can apply for a maximum of 15,000 CZK/month (Europe) or 20,000 CZK/month (outside Europe). Doctoral students can apply for a maximum of 20,000 CZK/month (Europe) or 25,000 CZK/month (outside Europe). For all types of studies, the maximum amount of financial support is 75,000 CZK. This amount includes all costs (accommodation, flights, subsistence, etc.). In all cases, the amount of the grant requested must be properly justified.

Financial support will be allocated until the funds for the calendar year are exhausted.

 

Realization of mobility

Students: to carry out mobility, a secondment proposal must be approved, support is then paid to students in the form of a scholarship.

For all outgoing participants: within 14 days after the end of the mobility, participants will submit a final report and a certified transcript of learning outcomes.

Without a proper accounting and a properly written final report, any further application to the Internationalization Fund will not be supported.
