Parasitologists help develop vaccines against poultry diseases

Parasitologists from Prof. Jan Tachezy's team help uncover the molecular basis of the pathogenicity of parasites from the species Eimeria tenella. These parasites (coccidia) cause the deadly poultry disease coccidiosis, the clinical outbreak of which has a significant impact on the food industry.
