LIFE, environment and climate: webinar in Czech for potential partners (23/4/2025)

The Czech Ministry of the Environment (Ministerstvo životního prostředí, MŽP) organise an online training for (potential) partners in the projects of programme LIFE.

The event will be probably held in Czech.

The event will introduce the role of the partner in projects supported by the LIFE Programme. It will introduce the possibility of joining project teams, the roles of a partner in the preparation of a project application and in the subsequent implementation of the project. It will also present the conditions of the LIFE national call 2025 and the opportunities for partners to obtain co-funding from the call.

Faculty news about the upcoming LIFE call

The European programme LIFE supports projects that have a positive impact on the environment or climate (sub-programmes Nature and Biodiversity, Circular economy and quality of life, Climate change mitigation and adaptation, and Clean Energy Transition). The Standard Action Projects, e.g., in the sub-programme Nature & Biodiversity, seem the most relevant for the Faculty of Science. The projects should not focus on the research itself, but rather exploit research results. The funding rate of the Standard Action Projects is usually up to 60 % (up to 75 % in specific cases in the Nature and Biodiversity sub-programme). Czech participants can often get up to additional 25 % of costs funded from the complementary Czech national call.
