The programme Horizon Europe, part Cluster 6: Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment (CL6) prepares announcement of topics for international projects to be funded in 2025. Calls are planned to open on 6. 5. 2025, deadlines in September 2025.

► On 1. 4. 2025, a Czech national infoday on these calls is organised. Event webpage and registration (in Czech).
► On 20. and 21. 5. 2025, the European Commission organise information days on these calls. Event webpage.

The information in this news is based on unofficial sources, the calls are still subject to change. Source.

If you plan to participate in a proposal submitted to a Horizon Europe call, please, contact well in advance the Project Management Department (Martina Holíková, martina.holikova@natur.cuni.cz).
See also Horizon Europe – practical information on faculty website.

If you are interested in one of the topics, but you don’t know, how to find a project coordinator or partners, please, contact the Project Management Department and we’ll recommend to you some networking opportunities.

If you have international research contacts and your research can be potentially used in applied research and in innovation, but cannot find a suitable topic in Horizon Europe, contact us and we can try to find a topic for you.

Projects are carried out by international consortia with significant participation of users of results of the projects, the usual consortia size is ca. 8–25 entities (depending on scope of the topic) from EU countries or countries associated to Horizon Europe. Each project proposal must focus on one of the specific topics prescribed by the programme for the given year. About this type of projects on faculty website

Topics in CL6 may be relevant for researchers in biology, but also in geography, social geography and demography, if their research can be useful in the fields of agriculture, forestry, and aquaculture, sustainable production and consumption of products of these sectors, related biodiversity, or climate change resilience.

Examples of topics that seem relevant for the Faculty of Science:
If a topic title sounds relevant for you, read its full description, especially from the Expected OutcomeScope, in the Work Programme (draft).
