The international programme COST (European Cooperation in Scientific and Technical Research) organise an online info day.

The aim of the event is to inform researchers and innovators about how to participate in COST Actions or submit a COST Action proposal, the role and impact of the COST programme, and the benefits of participating in COST for researchers’ careers, with a focus on young researchers.

COST supports international collaboration in science and technology in all fields. It encourages interdisciplinarity and participation of young researchers. COST Actions funds only “networking” activities (e.g. meetings, workshops and conferences, short-term scientific missions, training schools, virtual mobility…), but not research itself. Duration of a COST Action is 4 years. It is possible to join an approved COST Action from publication of the Action’s Memorandum of Understanding in the database of COST Actions until the end of this Action. COST Actions are often recommended as an excellent tool for building international research contacts.
