We cordially invite all interested young scientists to a new series of courses and workshops prepared for autumn 2024. Courses are primarily aimed at young scientists at CU - postdocs, assistant professors, etc., but some topics are also open to PhD students - so please pay attention to the registration process and choose the right course option.

Open Science – Mon, Sep 23 at 3 PM
This course will introduce the basic principles of Open Science.
Research Data Management – Mon, Nov 4 at 3 PM
Participants will learn how to manage their research data in accordance with FAIR principles and how to develop a data management plan.
Entrepreneurship I – Design Thinking – Mon, Nov 11 at 10 AM
In this workshop, you will be introduced to various tools for developing entrepreneurial and creative thinking.
Entrepreneurship II – Science into Action – Mon, Oct 21 at 3 PM
Upon completion, participants will understand the process of applying research results in practice, be familiar with various methods and outcomes of science application in practice and be able to explain to a layperson the usefulness of their research.
Excellence in International Networking, Teaming, and Cooperation – Mon, Oct 7 at 3 PM
This workshop aims to improv eparticipants' communication skills, to support effective collaboration with their colleagues, especially in a multicultural environment.
Supervising Graduate and Postgraduate Research Projects – Mon, Nov 18 at 3 PM
This workshop will focus on strategies, techniques, and tools for leadership roles.
Various Career Pathways in Research – Mon, Dec 2 at 3 PM
The goal of this workshop is to provide participants with an overview that will enable them to make informed decisions about their career paths after completing their PhD. Should they stay in academia or go elsewhere? What types of jobs and positions are available?
