President Petr Pavel presented appointment decrees to 20 newly appointed professors of Charles University in the Great Hall of the Carolinum. Among them are representatives of our faculty: Prof. RNDr. Svatava Janoušková, Ph.D., from the Department of Chemistry Education and Didactics; Prof. RNDr. Jiřina Kocourková, Ph.D., from the Department of Demography and Geodemography; and Prof. RNDr. Kryštof Verner, Ph.D., from the Institute of Petrology and Structural Geology. Congratulations!
On Monday, June 16, a ceremonial presentation of appointment decrees to newly appointed professors of Charles University took place in the Great Hall of the Carolinum. The decrees were presented by the President of the Czech Republic. The event was also attended by the Rector of Charles University, Professor Milena Králíčková, who, in her speech, emphasized the importance of academic work and education for society as a whole. The Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Professor Mikuláš Bek, also addressed the audience.
