As the founder and CEO of Adalid Sciences, a spin-off company originating from the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences, she leads the development of gene therapies with the potential to treat serious diseases such as cancer, spinal muscular atrophy, and hemophilia.
The company has already attracted a strategic investor, BTL — one of the leading manufacturers of medical technology — with an investment amounting to hundreds of millions of Czech crowns.
