Zoltán Váci: Volcanism in the Early Solar System
Ungrouped achondrites provide a wealth of petrological and geochemical information that force re-evaluation of canonical Solar System formation models. The ages and characteristics of planetesimal formation, differentiation, and destruction can be better understood through the study of evolved and silica-rich achondrites, which are some of the oldest igneous rocks in the Solar System.
