Mgr. Lenka Kožejová Jaklová and Mgr. Barbora Suchá
We congratulate our colleagues Mgr. Lenka Kožejová Jaklová and Mgr. Barbora Suchá on the successful defense of their dissertations on October 1st, 2024! Lenka and Barbora are members of the Laboratory of 3D Imaging and Analytical Methods.
Lenka Kožejová Jaklová defended her dissertation titled "Impact of therapy on facial development in patients with orofacial clefts: data modelling using the methods of virtual anthropology", which she worked on under the supervision of Prof. Jana Velemínská. This dissertation project examined the effect of early neonatal cheiloplasty on facial development in children with orofacial clefts.
Barbora Suchá defended her dissertation titled "Sex classification using 3D skull modelling in a multi-population sample", which was also supervised by Prof. Jana Velemínská. This project focused on the reliability of sex estimation from skulls using geometric morphometric methods across different populations.
