The European Geographical Association for Students and Young Geographers, EGEA for short, is a network among geography students across Europe - it allows them to travel, meet and participate in student exchanges (e.g. with Amsterdam, Oulu, Zurich, Kharkov etc...), congresses, student scientific conferences or even hackathons. About 5000 students from 30 European countries are part of the organisation. On a local level we organize many different events from travel lectures to a night orientation run. In short, we are a bunch of people who like to go abroad, experience new places and cultures. EGEA is a way to make friends all over Europe, practice English and experience something more.
