Getting a university student card and a verified password to CAS is necessary to get a faculty account at the Faculty of Science (for instance e-mail address and the possibility to login in computer rooms at the faculty), getting the ISIC licence, using the library, paying at mensa (canteen), identification at Study Affairs Division, etc.
In case a new student has been registered for studies by someone else or is not able to go in person to a Card Service Centre of Charles University, it is possible to get a temporary unverified password for CAS. This temporary password enables the student to login in SIS and arrange things that are necessary (e.g. course and schedule registration).
Instructions:
-
Use your registered e-mail address to log in to the module Admission and find your personal number by moving the mouse cursor over your name in the right upper corner (or by clicking your name in the right upper corner). Logout of the module Admission. To access SIS as a student use your personal number as your login, the password should be the same as for the module Admission. If the password doesn't work in SIS, please contact the Public Helpdesk for SIS.
-
As soon as possible, go to a Card Service Centre of Charles University and obtain there your student card together with your initial password for CAS. Within 5 days after obtaining the initial CAS password, change your password in CAS (thus you will get a verified password).

In case you has been registered for studies by someone else, come as soon as possible to see your responsible study officer at the Student Affairs Division.
