Online.

Event webpage with instructions for participants. Programme.
Registration open until 26. 5. 2025 (23:59).
The Information session is open to anyone interested – i.e., researchers (applicants – postdocs) as well as for example their potential supervisors. It will provide general introduction to the call including rules for participation, evaluation criteria, frequent mistakes etc. It will also include recommendations regarding Open Science, gender dimension and ethical issues.
The Workshop targets the researchers (applicants – postdocs) who are already working on their proposal and who are either currently based in Czechia and plan to conduct their project abroad, or who are preparing their proposal with a host organisation in Czechia. Participants will work with a successful MSCA-PF proposal, hear an MSCA-PF fellow’s success story and recommendations from an MSCA evaluator.
If you plan to apply in the current MSCA-PF call, we highly recommend participation in the workshop.
To be admitted to the workshop, participants must fill in an online registration form and subsequently send to the organisers (to javurkova@tc.cz) by 26. 5. 2025 (23:59):
- Preliminary abstract of their project (up to 2000 characters including spaces).
- Their CV written according to MSCA-PF recommendations (5 pages, see the application form, p. 34–35).
- Scan of a signed “Declaration on Confidentiality and Non-disclosure” (template to download).
The CV and abstract should be anonymized for the purposes of the workshop, it should NOT include the following: name of the researcher (applicant – postdoc), name of the supervisor, name of the host institution, project title, and project acronym. These should be omitted, blacked out or replaced with something generic – it is out of consideration for the evaluators who lecture at the workshop, so that they aren’t in a conflict of interest in future MSCA evaluations.
Please, read carefully and follow closely the instructions on the event webpage.
What is MSCA-PF
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions support research training and career development of researchers in Europe. The MSCA-PF grant supports an individual research stay (1-2 years) connected with international mobility (the project must take place in a country different from where the researcher has currently worked or studied). The researcher (applicant – postdoc) must possess a PhD degree and have less than 8 years of full-time research experience since obtaining it. The project can be in any research field. The researcher should prepare the proposal in close collaboration with the potential supervisor at the host organisation.
MSCA-PF is an interesting opportunity for:
- researchers who want to go on postdoctoral research stay abroad,
- researchers who have been doing research abroad (for at least 2 years) and are returning,
- researchers who have recently come (or returned) from abroad,
- leaders of research teams who want to bring to their research group a postdoc from any foreign country.
