The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has announced the call 8X25 for proposals of projects of multilateral scientific and technological cooperation in the Danube region, with implementation in 2025–2027. Deadline is 17. 1. 2025.
If you plan to apply in this call, please, contact well in advance the Foreign Affairs Department (Pavla Pousková, pavla.pouskova@natur.cuni.cz), so that all the formal requirements of the application can be prepared in time.
Internal deadline for the Faculty of Science is 10. 1. 2025.
Each project needs to be approved by the vice-dean of the respective section of the faculty.

The call is open to all scientific disciplines. It supports mutual visits and exchanges of scientists among the participating countries to carry out joint research projects – only travel costs are funded. Project duration is up to 2 years (July 2025 – June 2027). Project must involve partners from at least 3 participating countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, France, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovakia). A proposal must be submitted simultaneously by each project partner to their national funding body.
