The initiative Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CET) has launched its call for international research and innovation projects. Deadline for pre-proposals is 9. 10. 2025.
Participation of Czech entities will be funded by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of the Environment via the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR).
If you plan to participate in a proposal, please, contact well in advance, 1 month before the deadline at the latest, the Project Management Department (Martina Holíková, martina.holikova@natur.cuni.cz), so that all the formal requirements of the application can be prepared in time.
If you consider coordinating a project, please contact us IMMEDIATELY, ca. 2–3 months before the deadline at the very latest.

Czech entities can participate only in projects of applied research and focused only on the following topics of the call (see the TA CR news):
- CM2025-01: Multi-vector interactions between the integrated energy system and industrial frameworks
- CM2025-02: Energy system flexibility: renewables production, storage and system integration
- CM2025-04: Carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS)
- CM2025-05: Hydrogen and renewable fuels
- CM2025-07: Integrated regional energy systems
- CM2025-09: Clean energy integration in the built environment
The project consortium must consist of at least 3 partners from 3 different countries participating in the call, out of that at least 2 must be EU member states or Horizon Europe associated countries. Usual consortia size is ca. 5–10 partners. Project duration is 12–36 months, expected requested financial contribution per project is ca. EUR 0.5–5 million.
Each partner must fulfil the eligibility criteria of their national funding body.
Countries participating in the call: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Türkiye, United Kingdom (Scotland).
Funding of participation of Czech entities is linked to the TA CR programme Sigma (Sub-objective 4), only applied research is supported. Total Financial allocation for Czech participation in this call is EUR 1 200 000, maximal funding for the Czech part of one project is EUR 250 000. Maximal funding rate for Czech participants is 80 % (for the Czech part of the project in total).
Project proposals are to be submitted online by the coordinator via the CETPartnership Submission Platform. Czech participants must simultaneously submit to TA CR a project proposal (“návrh projektu”) via SISTA (it will probably contain administrative and budget information) by the pre-proposal deadline, in order for TA CR to check the national eligibility of the proposal.
