Since September 2023, AZV facilitates Czech participation in the European Partnerships focused on health – more information. It seems that no details about the rules for participation of Czech applicants in the above mentioned calls have been published yet.
Co-funded European Partnerships bring together national funding bodies (e.g. grant agencies, ministries) that decide to jointly support international research and innovation projects in a certain area. Such a partnership subsequently launches calls for international project proposals – only researchers from countries involved in the Co-funded Partnership usually can participate in these proposals and each partner must fulfil the eligibility criteria of their national funding body, the proposals are evaluated on international level. In these calls, project consortia usually must consist of at least 3 entities from 3 countries participating in the call and usual consortia size often is 4–8 partners from 3–5 countries – however, this differs significantly for different European Partnerships.
