Research: Preparation of the new edition of the Atlas of European mammals. Study of morphological variability and taxonomy of insectivorous mammals and rodents of Central Europe, Balkans and the Near East. Co-author of several monographies: Mitchell-Jones et al. (1999): Atlas of European Mammals. Kryštufek & Vohralík (2001, 2005, 2009): Mammals of Turkey and Cyprus. Vol. I, II, III.
Teaching: I am lecturing Evolutionary and Systematic zoology, Zoogeography, Fauna of European mammals, Vertebrates of Central Europe, Collections and their secrets. I participate in teaching of field courses and bachelor practical courses.
