Area of expertise: human ethology, social perception, olfactory perception, human sexuality.

Research: Our research group investigates how body odours, faces, and voices influence the formation of first impressions, especially in the context of mate choice and physical competition. Additionally, I study the formation of romantic relationships, the behavioural immune system, and the interaction between biological and cultural evolution. I have participated in several long-term field works (e.g., Cameroon, Namibia, Papua New Guinea). I have also contributed to several edited volumes including Chemical Signals in Vertebrates, The Oxford Handbook of Evolutionary Psychology, Romantic Relationships and The Routledge International Handbook of Comparative Psychology, and Sex, Reproduction, Gender.

Teaching: I teach courses on Human Ethology, Human Sexuality, Writting for Academic Journals, Journal Club in Behvioural Science, and Field Practices in Human Ethology. In 2024, I contributed as an editor to a new university textbook, Ethology.
