Junior Researcher, technical staff
Area of expertise: human-animal relationships, emotions and phobias caused by animals, conservation of endangered species
Research: I am focused on the complex analysis of the relationship between humans and animals, both positive and negative. I study human perception of animals from the perspective of endangered species conservation on the one hand, and from a more psychological perspective, focusing on fear and phobias caused by animals on the other. The main part of my research concerns reptiles, especially snakes, and in the context of the most common phobias recently also spiders.
Teaching: I participate in teaching the practical courses, Ethological Methods I, the Practical Course in Animal Morphology, and the Practical Course in Ethology and Sociobiology. Within the Department of Ethology and Ecology, I help organize lectures and a specialized seminar.
