On 4–5 June 2025, the Masaryk Institute and Archives of the Czech Academy of Sciences will host a scholarly workshop titled “Historical Data on Parliamentarism in Central Europe”
It focused on the exchange of experience in the development and use of prosopographical databases on parliamentary elites in various Central European countries.
The workshop is organized in connection with the project Social Mobility of Elites in the Central European Regions (1861–1926), supported by the Czech Science Foundation (GAČR).

Researchers from Austria, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and the Czech Republic will present databases and projects covering the period from the 18th to the 20th century.
The program also includes a final roundtable discussion on future developments and potential for international collaboration in historical prosopography.
