From February 5–7, 2025, the 16th Young Demographers Conference took place at the Faculty of Science, Charles University. Young researchers from various countries gathered to share their studies on population health, migration, fertility, and socioeconomic inequalities.

The keynote speakers were Rolf Granholm, who gave a lecture on microsimulation models in fertility research, and Marc Luy, who focused on differences in life expectancy between men and women.

The conference featured poster sessions with "flash talks" as well as traditional oral presentations. A special highlight this year was the "Rolf Award" competition, which challenged participants to improvise on demographic topics.

Once again, the conference proved to be a key forum for young researchers in a friendly and stimulating environment. The organizers thank all partners and sponsors and look forward to the next edition.
