The Mobility Fund allows academics to contribute to the financing of their mobility abroad (both trips and arrivals of foreign guests) up to a maximum of half of the total cost of the trip.

The content of the mobility application is crucial for the evaluation of the academics. Research fellowships and travel to conferences by senior staff are not supported. The development of a department/faculty is supported, e.g. by preparing a joint training programme, a project, establishing a new collaboration. For visiting academics, it is necessary to document their involvement in teaching (annotation, programme of stay, scope of teaching).

The application itself is submitted to the IS Věda application, where the final report is also submitted after the end of the supported stay.

The FM selection procedures are announced annually in two deadlines:

• February to March  for the spring round
