The purpose of the Fund
The founder of the Endowment Fund is Charles University, a public university, with its registered office at 560 Ovocný trh 15, Prague 1, ID: 00216208.
Quotation from the foundation's charter:
- The purpose of the endowment fund is socially useful.
- The purpose of the endowment fund is to support pedagogical, scientific and research activities carried out at Charles University, Faculty of Science and to support events and projects related to pedagogical, scientific and research activities carried out at Charles University, Faculty of Science organized by third parties.

Prof. Josef Michl and his wife Mrs. Sara Allensworth Michl made a donation of 100.000,-USD. Prof. Josef Michl studied at the Faculty of Science of Charles University and then worked at the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences. He moved out of Czechoslovakia in 1968. He is currently a professor of chemistry at the University of Colorado, USA.

How to help
We will be grateful if you decide to support the Endowment Fund of the Faculty of Science of Charles University with any amount deposited to the fund's account.
The Endowment Fund is registered with Komerční banka, the account number of the Endowment Fund is 115-5251190227/0100
- Individuals may deduct the amount of the donation from their tax base if the total amount of the donation is at least CZK 1,000 or if it is more than 2% of the tax base. In total, a maximum of 15% of the tax base can be deducted in this way.
- Legal entities may deduct the amount of the donation from their tax base if the total amount is at least CZK 2 000. A maximum of 10% of the tax base can be deducted in this way.
If you decide to deduct the amount of the donation from your tax base, please contact Ing. Karel Mozr <karel.mozr@natur.cuni.cz> and provide him with your identification data so that we can issue you with a certificate for tax purposes about the donation. Your data will not be misused or passed on to third parties.
