The scholarship is intended for employees of public universities in the Czech Republic, teaching and academic staff. Stays are carried out at eligible institutions (public and private universities, vocational colleges, libraries, archives, museums).
Requirements:
- Knowledge of German or English is required for the scholarship.
- There is no age limit for the scholarship and the scholarship cannot be extended.
- Selected applicants must not be gainfully employed in Austria in addition to their academic duties
The following scholarships are available for application:
- Scholarship for a research/lecture stay of 1 to 3 months
- Scholarship for the completion of a habilitation thesis for a period of 1 to 5 months
The amount of the scholarship for academics is 1250 €/month.
Application deadlines:
- Short-term research fellowships: 15 March for the implementation of the fellowship in the upcoming winter semester and 15 October for the upcoming summer semester
- One-month fellowships for university teachers: 15 March (for fellowships starting 1 July) and 15 October (for fellowships starting 1 February)
- Habilitation scholarships: 15 March, the earliest the fellowship can be implemented is six months after the application is submitted
