• One-semester course for students at B2 level
  • Once a week for 90 minutes
  • The course focuses on improving written expression, particularly in academic and professional contexts.
  • It develops skills in composition, critical thinking, and effective communication — from writing abstracts and research papers to journal articles and academic essays.
  • Participants will acquire vocabulary as well as grammatical and stylistic structures used in the most common formats of academic writing.
  • The course involves working with authentic scientific and popular science texts. A greater amount of homework can be expected — writing both shorter and longer texts, which are then analyzed during class, as well as reading articles to serve as a basis for discussion.
  • Together with the Conversation Advanced 1 course, it forms part of the one-semester K6 course.
