The institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, dedicated to Earth sciences and related disciplines and associated in the "Dynamic Planet Earth" program of the Strategy AV21 initiative, are organizing a cycle of joint seminars for the wider professional public and students for the first time this year. The pilot run of seminars in spring 2025 is hosted by the Faculty of Science of Charles University - its Geological Section (through the Institute of Geology and Paleontology) and the Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology.

In presentations, discussions and short courses, we want to familiarize students, professionals and those interested in Earth sciences with both the specific results of teams from the Academy of Sciences and the views of leading world experts. We look forward to meeting you at the first seminar on April 2nd in the Great Paleontological Auditorium, followed in the evening by a combination of music, visual art and science at the Bike Jesus club on Štvanice Island
