Evidence of Internship (Excluding Erasmus+ Programmes)
This page contains advice for students of the Faculty of Science of Charles University who are scheduled to undertake an internship as a part of a student mobility scheme that does not fall under the Erasmus+ programme and covers only information regarding internship evidence in SIS and details which the students have to work out with the Student Affairs Division. All additional matters (general requirements, travel, insurance, funding…) are handled by the student in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Information concerning the Erasmus+ programme can be found here.
Students of bachelor’s and master’s programmes are required to submit evidence of all internships that exceed 30 days. Doctoral students are required to submit evidence of all internships lasting longer than 7 days.
Guidelines for evidence submission:
- Prior to the start of the internship, set the duration of your stay (date from – until) in the Internships module in SIS and upload the required attachments (study plan, letter of acceptance, confirmation of acceptance for the internship programme, etc.).
- Fill in the study plan form available here in order for the internship to be approved by the guarantor (for bachelor’s and master’s students) or the supervisor (for doctoral students).
- When selecting an internship and designing a study plan during bachelor’s and master’s study programmes, please keep in mind that you still need to fulfil all the requirements necessary for progression into the subsequent period of study. If you have any doubts or questions regarding your selection, please immediately consult your study officer (this information concerns bachelor’s and master’s students only).
- Any changes to the duration of your internship must be immediately reported to the Student Affairs Division.
- After the completion of the internship, please edit the information in SIS so that it corresponds with the actual date of the beginning and end of your internship and upload a transcript or a report from the internship and a Confirmation of Stay (for bachelor’s and master’s students) or a report from the internship and a Confirmation of Stay (for doctoral students).
- For bachelor’s and master’s students, it is possible to request a recognition of courses taken at the receiving institution abroad as equivalents to compulsory subjects or elective subjects. The form for requesting the subject recognition can be found here.
