The fund is used to support internationalisation at the Faculty of Science.
The financial support is intended according to the priorities of the faculty mainly for:
- staff trips (including short-term ones) that develop cooperation with foreign universities and scientific institutions (not purely research stays) and which cannot be covered by the ERASMUS+ programme; support will be provided for example for: preparation of joint projects and inter-university cooperation programmes (e.g. within the 4EU+), preparation of new international courses, participation in their implementation, shared training of students (joint degree, cotutelle), preparation of joint study materials (including hybrid teaching);
- visiting academics (lectures, project preparation, participation in teaching)
- support for the development and implementation of joint study programmes in cooperation with one or more foreign universities
- organisation of international summer schools (preferential source of funding is Support for Internationalisation at the UK); the organisation of standard field trips cannot be supported
Applications for funding can be made at any time during the academic year, via foreign@natur.cuni.cz. Applications are processed in quarterly cycles and evaluations will take place approximately 10 days after the end of the cycle:
1. | 01. 12. | – 28. 02. |
2. | 01. 03. | – 31. 05. |
3. | 01. 06. | – 30. 08. |
4. | 01. 09. | – 30. 11. |
Travel order is required for implementation, support is provided according to a set financial plan and is subject to an accounting which must be completed within 10 working days of return. Unspent funds within the allocated support are returned to the Internationalization Fund. All mobilities must be finished by 30 November of the calendar year.
Within 14 days of the end of the mobility, participants will submit a final report together with a certificate of completion of the mobility.
Without a proper accounting and a properly written final report, any further application to the Internationalization Fund will not be supported.
