Výzkum
- Hlavonožci meso- a kenozoika, zejména coleoidi z boreální a tethydní říše. Bio- a evento-stratigrafie, paleobiogeografie, paleoekologie (včetně stabilních izotopových dat), systematika a taxonomie, srovnávací morfologie, evoluce.
- Integrovaná stratigrafie hraničního intervalu jura/křída v tethydní říši (Španělsko, Slovensko, Česká republika) a boreální říši (Nordvik, moře Laptěvů, severní Sibiř).
- Paleoekologie, biostratigrafie a eventostratigrafie středoevropských křídových pánví (česko-saská křídová pánev).
