Conference Report:
Mini Conference for Third-Year PhD Students

On June 6, 2024, the Organic Chemistry Department at Faculty of Science Charles University held Mini Conference, showcasing the research of third-year PhD students. The event began at 4:30 PM with an inspiring presentation by Dr. Štěpán Vyskočil, a distinguished alumnus, in Lecture Hall CH2.

Following the presentation, attendees moved to the Chemistry library patio for a poster session and BBQ. PhD students presented their research, fostering engaging and collaborative discussions. The relaxed atmosphere facilitated networking among students, faculty, and guests. The three best poster presentations by Mgr. Ladislav Lóška, Ing. Lukáš Janecký and Ing. Lucie Svobodová were awarded. The awards were sponsored by IOCB Tech Foundation. The event successfully celebrated the students’ work and promoted a collaborative spirit within the  department.

Mini konference pro PhD studenty třetího ročníku

Dne 6. června 2024 pořádala Katedra organické chemie Přírodovědecké fakulty Univerzity Karlovy mini konferenci, na které představila výzkum PhD studentů třetího ročníku. Akce začala v 16:30 inspirativní přednáškou Dr. Štěpána Vyskočila, významného absolventa, v přednáškové síni CH2.

Po přednášce se účastníci přesunuli na terasu Knihovny chemie, kde proběhla posterová sekce a BBQ. PhD studenti prezentovali výsledky svých projektů ostatním studentům, členům katedry a hostům. Uvolněná atmosféra usnadnila živou diskusi mezi všemi zúčastněnými. Tři nejlepší posterové prezentace Mgr. Ladislava Lóšky, Ing. Lukáše Janeckého a Ing. Lucie Svobodové byly oceněny. Tyto ceny byly sponzorovány Nadačním fondem IOCB Tech. Akce úspěšně oslavila práci našich studentů a podpořila spolupráci v rámci katedry.
