Collegio futuro, a programme of EU4+ universities, announces the next edition of the course for Ph.D. students. It aims to teach students interdisciplinary, international collaboration in the field of sustainability and to foster the ability to communicate results outside academia. The course includes a week-long camp in Germany followed by online collaboration. The course will be run at SiS as a PhD course from October, with a capacity of 5 candidates. The deadline for applications is 5 July 2023.

We cordially invite all interested parties to attend the August workshop, which will be hosted by the Vineyard Microscopy Core Facility (VMCF) from August 21-25, 2023, both in person and online. The main goal of the workshop is to provide participants with suggestions for creating advanced pipelines for image analysis in microscopy and super-resolution microscopy. Registration for the face-to-face format is required and the number of places is limited.

Introduction of methods available in our service laboratory with an emphasis on advanced proteomics methods – Protein cellular localization and thermal stability of proteins. Description of targeted proteomics and possibilities of absolute quantification. In the second part of the presentation, we will introduce the metabolomics part of our services – untargeted LC/MS metabolomics. The seminar will be held on Wednesday 31.5.2023 at 2 pm at BIOCEV (Průmyslová 595, Vestec 252 30, main lecture hall).
