Sorbonne University and Heidelberg University join forces to organise the first workshop on AI in medicine under the 4EU+ European University Alliance.

The aim of the three-day workshop, held from September 11th to 13th 2024, is to bring together researchers in the field of machine learning for an information exchange in the field of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine.  The audience will comprise a diverse group of PhD students from the fields of medicine, biology, and computer science. The event has 40 seats available, with 10 reserved for participants from 4EU+ members.

Application:

Doctoral candidates from 4EU+ Alliance members (see list) are invited to apply for this event. Interested applicants should complete the online form (click here) by April 30th, 2024.

Regarding papers, presentations (talk or poster), students are invited to register both to attend and to present. Each presentation will be accompanied by a short paper published in the conference proceedings. Participants are required to submit an abstract of 500 words for their proposed presentation. These short papers must be completed before the school's commencement. It's important to note that a minimum level of proficiency in programming skills and English language is required to effectively participate in the workshops activities. Selected candidates will be provided with logistical details, including funding opportunities for travel and accommodation.
