Welcome to our Workshop “BioImage Analysis Fundamentals”! Dive into the world of bioimage analysis and take advantage of the great potential of tools like ImageJ and Arivis Vision4D for image processing and evaluation. Explore the possibilities of machine learning and deep learning in interpreting microscopy data. Learn how to visualise your findings effectively for impactful research. Join us on the exciting journey of unlocking the secrets hidden within microscopic images! By the end of this 5-day workshop, you will have a solid skill set to effectively analyse, visualise and interpret
your own bioimage data.
The first day we will introduce you to general microscopic techniques and the world of Bioimage analysis. On the second day, we will present the open source software ImageJ and its use for Bioimage Analysis (from beginners to intermediate users). On
the third day you will learn how to use Arivis Vision4D for BiA. The last two days will be devoted to Data Analysis and Visualization, open discussions on current advances and challenges on BiA, and the work on a Final project using the skills developed throughout
the course.
