22nd International Summer School on Bioanalysis
From July 8 to July 12, 2024, the 22nd annual International Summer School on Bioanalysis took place at the Faculty of Science of Charles University, under the patronage of Dean Professor Zima. The event, organized by a team of teachers and doctoral students from the Department of Analytical Chemistry and the Department of Physical and Macromolecular Chemistry, was attended by 82 representatives from a total of 19 universities.

The International Summer School on Bioanalysis was held as part of the Central European Exchange Program for University Studies (CEEPUS) and was attended by 25 teachers and 57 students. They were offered approximately 16 hours of lectures and seminars, with 38 posters presented. The program also included a welcome party on the terrace of the Chemistry Section Library, an excursion to the Pilsner Urquell Brewery, and a concluding open-air party.
Each day, a new task was posted on the summer school's website, which participants could attempt to solve. The tasks are still available for anyone interested. The fastest solver was always rewarded with small prizes from the faculty's e-shop.
