This year, the Map collection once again participated in the rich program of the Noc vědců prepared by the Faculty of Science, Charles University. During six guided excursions, we welcomed more than 90 visitors who learned something about the history of our collection, viewed the Kuchař Gallery of Cartography, and also got to know the possibilities of the Kramerius Digital Library of Charles University. There was also time for interesting questions and geographical activities. In the foyer of the Map Collection, participants could view the new exhibition Šafařík's Cartographic Legacy and UNESCO, which presents a selection of the reproductions of the maps from the Collection of Cartographic Documents by Pavel Josef Šafařík.
